4 Half-day Lectures (20 hours) On Practical “Nuts & Bolts” Clinical Oral Pathology At Big Cedar Lodge
May 15, 2020 - May 18, 2020
The course is presented in Big Cedar’s magnificent new conference center with large windows that provide panoramic views of Big Cedar Cove and Table Rock Lake. It consists of 4 half-day lectures (20 hours) on practical “Nuts & Bolts” Clinical Oral Pathology with emphasis on diagnosis and management of mucosal lesions that could represent oral cancer. The half-day format allows participants time to enjoy the many activities at Big Cedar. Participants enjoy this course because it covers oral pathology (sometimes perceived as a boring subject) in a way that is enjoyable and one that they haven’t experienced before. To quote a dentist from St. Louis “I attended only because a friend wanted me to go with him and I was somewhat skeptical of an “Oral Pathology Course”; but I must say that this was the best, most interesting and enjoyable course I’ve ever taken–bar none!”.
The course is presented by Dr. Doug Damm and Dr. Jim Drummond from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry who collectively have over 75 years of teaching experience, and have been teaching oral pathology CE courses like this one for over 30 years. The course is taught in a casual and relaxed atmosphere with a lot of give and take with participants. In short, it’s a fun course enjoyed both by the participants and instructors. Also, it’s co-sponsored by the Arkansas Academy of General Dentistry so AGD PACE credit is awarded in addition to ADA CERP credit.
